Selection Procedure of Nagaland State Merit Scholarship

The selection process for the scholarship is as follows:

• Class/Year Selection
• 11 Marks of the best five subjects in class 10
• 12 Marks of the best five subjects in class 11
• Degree 1st Year Marks of the best five subjects in class 12
• Degree 2nd Year Marks of all papers in 1st & 2nd Sem.
• Degree 3rd Year Marks of all papers in 3rd & 4th Sem.
• Degree 4th Year Marks of all papers in 5th & 6th Sem
• Degree 5th Year Marks of all papers in 7th & 8th Sem.
• PG 1st Year Marks of all papers in all semesters of the Bachelor/ Graduation course
• PG 2nd Year Marks of all papers in PG 1st & 2nd Sem.

Nagaland State Merit Scholarship 2023 Application Procedure

1. Open the State Merit Scholarship website of the Common Scholarship portal Nagaland.
2. Choose the register button, and the registration application form will open on the screen.
3. Start filling in the details in the form as asked, including Applicant’s Name, Gender, Aadhaar number, Mobile Number, Email-Id, and Password.
4. Select the Register option and complete the registration process by verifying your information.
5. Go to the apply link and select the scholarship you wish to apply for.
6. Fill out the rest of the application form and complete all formalities.
7. Upload the required images, signature, and documents.
8. Submit the application form and take a printout of it.
9. Send the printed application to Scholarship Section, Directorate of Higher Education, Below New Secretariat Complex, Nagaland, Kohima-797001.

Process To Do Renewal

1. Open the official website of the Common Scholarship portal Nagaland.
2. Press the login button, and the login page will open.
3. Enter your email, password, and captcha code.
4. Enter the login and go to the renewal option.
5. Start filling in the details in the form as asked, including Academics, Address, and Other information.
6. Upload the required images, signature, and documents.
7. Submit the renewal application form and take a printout of it.
8. Send the printed renewal application to Scholarship Section, Directorate of Higher Education, Below New Secretariat Complex, Nagaland, Kohima-797001.

3. Select “click here to check the status” button next to the name of the scholarship you applied for.
4. Enter the transaction ID or email ID.
