Eligibility
High school applicants who are U.S. citizens and have applied or been accepted to UMES are eligible to apply. Enrolling in one of the specified majors – General Agriculture, Agribusiness Management, Environmental Science, or Human Ecology – and holding a high school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) certificate with a minimum unweighted GPA of 2.8 reflects your dedication to excellence. If you’re a college applicant or transfer student, the same criteria apply, including maintaining a cumulative GPA of at least 2.8.
